Kyle Erickson

Kyle grew up exploring the beaches, mountains, and canyons of Santa Barbara. Kyle graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, with a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, and Society and a minor in Biology. After graduating, he worked as an English teacher abroad in Vietnam and Spain, a solar panel installer, and performed outreach for the Multnomah County Drainage District in Portland, Oregon. He is interested in renewable energy, habitat restoration, and ethnobotany. Kyle is passionate about sharing humanity’s interconnectedness with nature. As a Backcountry Ranger, he aims to engage and inspire community youth with curiosity about the natural world.
